Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated technical consultant with 2-3 years of experience in implementation / support of Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA)/ OGL modules. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting, maintaining, and optimizing our OFSAA implementation, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for system enhancements and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
a) Work closely with business and IT teams to implement, maintain, and troubleshoot the OFSAA solution.
b) Develop, and document SQL queries for data extraction and execution of data sanity checks within the OFSAA framework.
c) Execute Linux commands for file movement and server management including accessibility checks.
d) Participate in the design and development of data models, ETL processes, and reporting solutions.
e) Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
f) Management of Python based databases / solutions.
Qualifications & Experience:
a) SQL Expertise: Strong SQL skills for querying, data extraction, transformation, and performance tuning.
b) Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, especially in data analysis and interpretation.
c) Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical teams.
d) Additional Tools: Experience with Python and Linux is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
a) Exposure to financial services domain or risk management solutions.
b) Understanding of regulatory compliance and financial reporting requirements.
Educational Requirements:
a) B-Tech in Computer science
b) Relevant certifications in PLSQL, Oracle, Linux, Python or OFSAA would be an added advantage.
