APCO Worldwide is seeking a Consultant or Senior Consultant with experience supporting healthcare clients to join our Mumbai team. Responsibilities
• Manage and implement a wide range of strategic communications campaigns for our high profile, globally-recognized healthcare clients
• Support to design and implement multi-faceted, integrated campaigns to position client issues and priorities with key audiences that may include elected officials, media, key opinion leaders, consumers and industry stakeholders
• Create and edit high-quality written deliverables, such as bespoke messaging, issue backgrounders, briefings, press materials, and social media content often under tight deadlines
• Drive thought leadership initiatives, positioning clients as industry experts and leaders in their field
• Develop compelling communications and content to convey complex policy and/or social issues
• Monitor developments in key client issue areas and flag opportunities for further client engagement
• Participate in business development activities including writing proposals and developing pitch decks
Qualifications
• At least 4-6+ years of strategic communications, health or public affairs campaign experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Knowledge in the Healthcare industry will be an added advantage
• Exceptional writing and analytical skills, and the ability to write both strategically and creatively under tight deadlines
• Outstanding presentation skills including the ability to engage an executive leadership and experience briefing senior-level clients
• Solid project management experience, including overseeing a team and multiple deliverables
