We are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Child, Adolescent & Family Service. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of general psychiatric skills and be eligible for Vocational Registration as a Child Psychiatrist with the Medical Council of New Zealand.

The Lakes District Health Board serves a population of just over 118,000 and covers +,570 square kilometers. We are rebuilding our team and offer a busy role with a broad variety of Child & Adolescent psychiatry.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality clinical care to children and adolescents
Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
Supervise medical students and registrars
About the Role:
The successful candidate will work closely with a passionate Child & Adolescent team who values kindness, excellence, and Te Ao Māori principles. The role can be based in Rotorua or Taupō and clinics are offered at both sites.
Requirements:
Hold or be eligible for Vocational Registration as a Child Psychiatrist with the Medical Council of New Zealand
Enjoy teaching and supervising medical students and registrars
