Consultant Solicitors Wanted (No following Required)
We are building a team of consultant solicitors to support small to medium sized law firms who have been heavily impacted by the pandemic, the shortage of qualified staff and, of course, the rapid digitalisation of their traditional marketplace. These firms pride themselves on providing quality legal services to their established client base and need qualified lawyers to help them provide the legal expertise to meet their clients need.
The role is remote, but you will have admin support from the business and your PI insurance is covered by the firm. You do not need to commit full time with one firm, but we will create a portfolio of other clients to meet your specific needs, and you will act as a true consultant to potentially several firms. There will not be any onerous exclusivity terms, nor will there be any demands to have a following or a need to go and do business development.
You will agree a fee sharing arrangement with each of the firms for whom you sign a service agreement with, you will be self-employed, and you can work from anywhere. You decide your work levels, and you can decide when and where you work. You just need to satisfy the expectations of your client and your firm.
What is required is that you:
• Are an England and Wales registered solicitor.
• Have more than 5 years PQE
• Have an SRA record that does not have any blemishes.
• Demonstrate you are a specialist in a specific discipline.
Your application will be rejected if you cannot comply with these requirements.
Those solicitors or Cilex lawyers already acting as consultants and who have the capacity to take on additional clients, or maybe thinking of a reset, will be considered.
