We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist Requirements Principal responsibilities Continue to develop central guidance and where applicable central solutions to assist our customers to adopt platform/tool automation Working with various IT teams maintain and evergreen the quality engineering tooling estate of Distributed platform for the Group. Collaboratively work with various stakeholders in the evaluation and implementation of emerging Group standard tooling Drive the integration and extensibility of Group standard tools as it pertains to automation. Provide consulting support to IT teams across the group on quality engineering practice. Work closely with the engineering teams for identifying failures/de-gradation/vulnerabilities and enable corrective decisions for improvements. Requirements (Skills) Hands-on experience in designing and development of platforms/CI-CD scripts. Have a detailed knowledge of deployment, automation, orchestration, and monitoring tools Must have experience in API, web service development, release and testing Hands-on experience in using Continuous Integration pipeline using Jenkins, Maven, and other CI tools used in DevOps ecosystem Experience of containerization, ideally using Docker / Kubernetes. Experience with Agile Software development methodologies and associated lifecycle tools - JIRA / ALM etc. Hands-on experience on collaboration and orchestration tools like, JIRA, RTC, Jenkins, Cucumber used in DevOps ecosystem Proven experience using programming languages like Java, Python, Webservices, Powershell, Bash, Shell Script development. Knowledge and certifications of Cloud with any Cloud service providers. Strong understanding and exposure to the Cloud technologies and cloud service providers - GCP, AWS, Azure. Drive to improve and enhance existing strategies, processes, tools and techniques Has solid understanding of Agile (Scrum), CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, JIRA Experienced in managing delivery in a globally spread matrix managed organization (or team) using Agile methodologies. Ability to work directly with business stakeholders, understanding needs and articulating ideas Interpersonal skills, including the ability to articulate the case for investments and alternatives in the language of business Candidate should have good communication, presentation skills & project management skills Experience in production/ application support, exp. in working in shifts and on-call, Knowledge of DevOps, CI-CD, Jenkins, Ansible etc. Should have sound knowledge of DevOps tools and techniques, good attitude to work in pressure situations, Good understanding of JAVA and Spring.
