Job Description
• Perform surgical procedures, evaluations, and post-operative management for cancer patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals, including oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and other specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Contribute to the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows through lectures, presentations, and clinical supervision.
• Engage in research activities within the field of surgical oncology, including participating in clinical trials, publishing scholarly articles, and presenting at national and international conferences.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patients, including surgical notes, progress reports, and treatment plans, in compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.
• Participate in departmental meetings, case conferences, and tumor boards to discuss patient cases, treatment strategies, and research initiatives.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and best practices in surgical oncology through continuous education, self-directed learning, and participation in professional development activities.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards, including patient confidentiality, informed consent, and compliance with institutional policies and procedures.
