The team
Our Cloud Engineering team focuses on enabling our client’s end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, with opportunities in the areas of: Cloud Strategy and Architecture, Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration & APIs, Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. We help our clients see the transformational capabilities of Cloud as an opportunity for business enablement and competitive advantage.
Cloud Engineering supports our clients as they improve agility and resilience and identifies opportunities to reduce IT operations spend through automation by enabling Cloud. We accelerate our clients towards a technology-driven future, leveraging vendor solutions and Deloitte-developed software products, tools, and accelerators.
Required Skills
The Multi-Cloud Architect should have experiences in applying architectural principles and practices to guide client organizations through the business, information, process, and technology changes necessary to execute their strategies on different cloud platforms.
Strong experience in designing and developing architectures on different clouds (AWS, Azure and/or GCP) to support digital and cloud transformation initiatives
Thorough understanding of technology, applications, industry best practices, DevOps methodology, security, business processes and architectural designs (Layered / Microservices / Event-driven etc.) to drive business and digital transformation
Manage Cloud Advisory, Multi-Cloud and Hybrid-Cloud engagements, solution, design, and planning, and oversee Project Delivery
Demonstrate experience in designing, implementing, and operationalizing cloud-native enterprise solutions hosted on public cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / SFDC / etc.)
Lead various activities in a Cloud Advisory engagement which includes but not limited to Application Discovery, Application Portfolio Assessment, Cloud Business Case, Application Rationalization, Multi-Cloud Migration/ Modernization Assessment, Application Deep-dive, Cloud Migration and Modernization Agile Factory Transformation Design and Program Governance, Enterprise Architecture Guidelines in Cloud, Landing Zone Design, Project and Program Governance, IT-Modernization Consulting
Ability to understand the business needs and drivers for Cloud Migration and Modernization and design the Cloud Migration and Modernization as well as technology decisions accordingly
Certified Solution Architect in at least one Public Cloud, preferably multi-Cloud such as AWS, Azure, GCP, OCP, VMWare etc.
Basic understanding of data gathering tools (e.g. Universal Discovery, AWS Discovery, Azure Migrate, Device42 etc.)
Ability to define and document architecture, capture Non-Functional Requirements (NFR), prepare estimates, and define technical solutions to proposals (RFPs)
Ability to analyze, design, and develop a software solution roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state of the business
Minimum of 10+ years’ experience with large and complex Hybrid-Cloud and Multi-Cloud Migration and Modernization projects in an Advisory/Consulting capacity
