Job Responsibilities: - Lead Consultations: Conduct comprehensive initial consultations (in-person and via telehealth) for patients exploring our non-surgical treatment protocols.
- Empower with Education: Masterfully explain complex medical topics like osteoarthritis and our integrated treatment plans in a clear, accessible manner.
- Assess Candidacy: Perform thorough reviews of patient history and imaging (X-rays, MRIs) to determine suitability for our protocols based on established clinical criteria.
- Build Relationships: Patiently answer questions, manage expectations, and serve as a trusted guide through the decision-making process.
- Collaborate for Excellence: Work closely with our on-site interventional physicians and clinical staff to ensure a seamless and supportive patient journey.
- Maintain Meticulous Records: Ensure all patient consultations and assessments are accurately documented in our EMR system.
Qualifications: - Credentials: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
- Specialty: Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine strongly preferred. Family Medicine or related primary care backgrounds with adult musculoskeletal experience also considered.
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted California medical license, or eligibility to obtain one prior to start date.
- Core Skills: Strong patient communication and education skills, with a patient-centered consultative approach.
- Experience: Prior experience conducting consultations for chronic conditions or procedural candidacy is valued.
