About the Role
As a Consulting/Principal Software Engineer, you will provide clients expert guidance and technical leadership on complex software development projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet client needs and drive business growth. Through your leadership and mentoring, you will inspire and develop talent to achieve technical excellence and deliver exceptional results.

Requirements:
• Years of experience in Systems Engineering
• BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required; advanced degree preferred
• Will require the candidate to be able to analyze problems, develop solutions, and defend those solutions. Ultimately, they must work with the team in the decided implementation.
• Blazor WASM development: understanding of components, routing, data binding, and lifecycle events
• RESTful web services: ability to develop controller-based or minimal APIs as well as consuming services
• SQL Server DDL and DML: table, view, stored procedure, function creation as well as data manipulation
• Entity Framework Core: database-first experience
• HTML and CSS: Understanding of DOM and how to manipulate styles. Experience with a response framework such as Bootstrap
• Basic JavaScript understanding and how it interops with Blazor
• Version Control: Systems such as TFS or DevOps. Git understanding
• Unit Testing: experience with testing frameworks. xUnit is preferred
Responsibilities
• Serving as a primary technical point of contact for external technology resources.
• Providing technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
• Providing design input across a product.
• Writing and reviewing portions of detailed specifications for developing system components of moderate complexity.
• Designing and working with complex data models.
• Mentoring and leading software developers interested in consultancy on development methodologies and optimization techniques.
• Proper creation, execution, documentation, and closure of tasks, changes, and requests.
• All other duties as assigned.
