Containment Installer

TITLE: Containment Installer IILocation: Remote but working onsite at various locations (75% travel) POSITION SUMMARY: A Containment Installer II is responsible for the day-to-day installation of containment materials, following clear direction from the site supervisor while maintaining the assigned work schedule. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Install hot and cold aisle containment systems, including panels, doors, ceiling structures, and mounting hardware. Use basic hand tools (e.g., drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, measuring tape) to assemble and secure components. Follow work instructions to ensure proper system layout and alignment. Measure and cut materials accurately to fit within designated areas. Inspect and test completed installations to ensure proper fit, function, and alignment. Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure all safety procedures are followed. Collaborate with other technicians, contractors, and supervisors to complete installations on schedule. Report material needs, progress updates, and any installation issues to the project lead or site supervisor.QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Physically able to lift materials, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods. Previous experience in construction, or data center infrastructure installation is a plus Education/Experience: High School diploma 1-3 Years Mechanical experience required 0-1 years data center experience preferred but not requiredComputer Skills:Knowledge in Microsoft Suite applications such as: Excel, Word, and Outlook is a plusCertificates and Licenses:No certificates or licenses required Supervisory Responsibilities: No supervisory responsibilities Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
