As a content and copywriter you’re responsible for creating written content that engages and informs the target audience, promotes the brand with its products/services, and drives sales or other desired actions. You’ll oversee all aspects of content creation, from ideation to distribution, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content aligns with the overall marketing strategy. You’ll use your writing skills to craft marketing copy, website content, social media posts, email newsletters, and other forms of content marketing.
Responsibilities:
• Creating content marketing strategy: You’d work with marketing and creative teams to develop a content marketing strategy that aligns with the company's goals and target audience.
• Writing marketing copy: You’d create compelling copy for various marketing channels, such as websites, social media, ads, email newsletters, and landing pages. You’d write headlines, taglines, calls-to-action, and other types of persuasive copy.
• Creating a content calendar: You’d create a content calendar that outlines the topics, formats, and distribution channels for all content.
• Writing website content: You’d write clear, concise, and engaging content for Alike’s Website, such as product descriptions, about us pages, and blog posts.
• Conducting research: You’d conduct research on industry trends, target audience preferences, and competitors' strategies to inform, improve and create an appeal in your writing.
• Producing and managing content: You’d oversee the creation and distribution of all content, including blog posts, articles, social media posts, videos, podcasts, and other formats. You’d also manage external content distribution dn publications from creators, such as influencers, freelancers or agencies.
• Collaborating with other departments: You’d work with other departments, such as sales, product development, and customer service, to ensure your writing aligns with the overall marketing strategy and customer needs.
• Editing and proofreading: You’d edit and proofread content being published internally and externally to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in English, communications, marketing, or a related field.
• Previous experience as a content writer, copywriter, or a related field.
• Strong writing skills with a keen eye for detail and an understanding of persuasive writing techniques.
• Ability to write for a variety of formats and styles, such as social media, email, and long-form content.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and search engine optimization (SEO) principles.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with editing and proofreading.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently when needed.
