We’re looking for a creative, driven, and detail-oriented Content Creator Apprentice to join the Hairburst team. In this role, you’ll support the marketing team in bringing our brand to life across social media, and other digital channels. From filming TikToks and styling flat lays, to editing short-form videos and helping on campaign shoots, you’ll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, creative environment where no two days are the same.
You’ll be part of a collaborative, fun team that champions bold ideas, fresh thinking, and brand-first storytelling, all while learning the foundations of content strategy, planning, and production.
Skills Required:
A strong interest in social media, beauty, or wellness
Confidence creating and appearing in short-form content (TikTok, Reels etc.)
Basic knowledge of filming/editing on a phone (CapCut, InShot, Canva etc.)
Creative eye for visuals, styling, and storytelling
Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks
Great communication and a team player mindset
Personal Qualities:
Creative thinker – full of fresh ideas and able to bring content concepts to life in a fun, engaging way
Self-starter – takes initiative and is eager to get stuck in, even when tasks are new or unfamiliar
Confident communicator – comfortable working with others, sharing ideas, and representing the brand
Trend-aware – naturally tuned in to what’s happening on TikTok, Instagram, and within the beauty space
Detail-oriented – takes pride in producing high-quality, polished content
Team player – enjoys collaborating and contributing to a supportive, fast-paced team environment
Willing to learn – open to feedback and always looking to improve skills and grow in the role
Positive attitude – upbeat, adaptable, and ready to tackle new challenges with enthusiasm
Entry requirements
5 GCSEs grade A-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English and Maths)
Training to be provided
The Juice Academy is a digital marketing Academy based in Castlefield, Manchester. They train up to 80 apprentices a year, whilst the apprentices work with businesses around the North West (and sometimes further afield!). The training is delivered by industry professionals from their sister company, Tangerine Communications. The Juice Academy training sessions are a hybrid of face-to-face learning within the academy in Castlefield, and online delivery via Zoom. Apprentices will also receive the on the job training in the workplace. The final three months of the course will be the ‘assessment period’ during which apprentices are expected to produce a portfolio of work and complete a series of assessments. Full digital marketing training to be provided on-the-job and off-the-job. The Juice Academy partner with Apprentify, who support apprentices in the workplace through development coaching.
