Boody is looking for a new Content Creator! This role is a seriously exciting opportunity to create the content that represents the Boody brand identity across all of our global markets and channels.
As Boody's Content Creator, you will be responsible for ideating, planning, shooting, and editing content for both organic and paid channels that drive the Boody business towards success. You will work closely with the Brand Marketing, performance marketing and Social Media teams to produce engaging content that aligns with our brand messaging, resonates with our customer and is informed by the wider business strategy. This role requires a creative thinker who is passionate about content creation, staying ahead of trends, and constantly experimenting with new formats to drive customer engagement.
What is this role all about?
Content Development: Ideate, plan, shoot, and edit content to support Boody’s organic and paid marketing channels. This includes but is not limited to social media posts, videos, stories, and ads.
Creative Brief Execution: Work from briefs provided by the Brand Marketing and e-comm teams, to develop content ideas that support product, brand and sales initiatives. Pitch multiple content ideas to marketing leadership, refine the selected concepts, and execute them effectively.
Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with the latest content trends, social media algorithms, and emerging platforms to create fun, engaging, and innovative content that captures attention, drives brand awareness and converts to sale
Collaboration: Work alongside the Social Media Manager and digital marketing manager to monitor content performance and use insights to continuously improve and refine content strategies.
Public Engagement: Be comfortable conducting social media activations, engaging with the public, and collaborating with internal employees to create authentic and entertaining content.
Shoot Management: Assist in photoshoot planning, product sample organisation, and other preparation activities to ensure smooth execution of content shoots.
What do you bring to the role?
Proven experience in shooting and editing engaging content, particularly using an iPhone, evidenced with strong portfolio
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar platforms.
Basic skills in photo retouching and editing using Adobe Photoshop.
Experience in brainstorming and storyboarding creative concepts.
Ability to adapt and switch styles to produce content that ranges from very lofi to highly polished and premium.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
DSLR photography and videography skills are highly regarded but not essential.
A positive attitude, a collaborative spirit, and a willingness to experiment and try new things.
