Job Description
Kassia Tjia Events is a contemporary Wedding & Event Planning company, based out of London, Ontario and servicing weddings and events in London, Niagara, Toronto, and all of Southwestern Ontario.
We are looking to expand our team for the 2026 wedding season, with Wedding Planning Assistant that also manages content creation for Kassia Tjia Events. This role will assist a Lead Planner through executing an event day from start to finish, in tasks such as rental & decor set up, timeline management, vendor & guest experience, and various evolving responsibilities, with an overall additional focus on capturing necessary content for branding and marketing purposes.
Weekday office based hours may be available on periodic occasions.
Position Expectations:
Seasonal position, on various weekend dates between May - October
Assist a lead planner in executing event day set up, vendor communications, guest management, client care, timeline maintenance, and all other aspects of an event day
Be skilled and knowledgeable in current social media content trends, with the ability to take initiative in ensuring behind the scenes content is captured on event days
Maintain a fast pace, alongside attention to detail and consistent poise and professionalism
Arrive to each event ready to work as a positive team player
Expectation of possible labour intensive tasks, such as furniture placement, heavy lifting, and long consecutive time on foot
The perfect fit must have:
High Professionalism
An energetic, positive, and eager attitude
The ability to work under pressure, in a fast paced environment, with quick time deadlines
Willingness to work long hours (10+) while executing physical tasks
3+ years of experience in a customer service based industry
Impeccable attention to detail
Their own vehicle, and the ability to travel throughout Southwestern Ontario
Wedding industry experience is considered an asset, although not required
