Overflow Collective Studios is a content boutique startup based in Chennai. We’re passionate about helping solopreneurs, small businesses, and purpose-driven brands find their authentic voice through powerful, clear, and value-driven content.
We’re looking for a Content Developer Intern who genuinely enjoys writing and is eager to grow as a creative professional. You'll work directly with the content head and gain real-world experience in content writing, brand strategy, editing, and more.
This role is ideal for someone who writes for fun, thrives on feedback, and is ready to build a meaningful portfolio.
Responsibilities:
• Write content for blogs, websites, email newsletters, and social media platforms
• Assist in developing brand voice and messaging strategies for clients
• Repurpose long-form content into shorter formats like social captions or carousels
• Use Canva to create simple, on-brand visuals (guidance and templates provided)
• Conduct light research to support content development
• Contribute to internal content initiatives such as mini blogs, templates, and case studies
• Join creative meetings and occasional client calls when applicable
Qualifications:
• A genuine love for writing (this is our only non-negotiable)
• Strong command of written English and a flair for creative expression
• Currently pursuing or recently graduated in English, Journalism, Communications, or related fields
• Basic familiarity with Canva or willingness to learn quickly
• Openness to feedback and a collaborative mindset
• Ability to commit 20 hours/week for a 6-month internship
• Based in Chennai or willing to attend occasional in-person sessions
Bonus: You write for fun—blogs, poems, Instagram captions, essays, or anything else that shows your creative voice.
Stipend:
This is a paid internship.
A monthly stipend of ₹2,500 (base pay) will be offered, depending on your experience, writing samples, and performance during the internship.
