Job Description
The News Editor is responsible for various editorial, research, and support duties to facilitate the collection and processing of content used for the Capital Monitor service.
This role involves playing a central part in the collection, processing, and upload of content processed by the sub-editor team.
Key Responsibilities:
Proof-reading and editing content prior to its publication on the website.
Delivering Capital Monitor's premium Instant Email Alerts relevant to client subscriptions.
Writing short content pieces as instructed by the Managing Editor.
Flexible working hours to suit Parliamentary sitting patterns and Government publishing cycles.
Providing general office support as required.
