Job Description
Tasks and responsibilities:
• Translation: Utilize the predefined AI script on Rundeck to perform translations from English to other languages such as German, Dutch, Spanish, and French. Ensure accuracy and strive for 100% correct translations.
• Attention to Detail: Carefully review the translated content and identify any minor issues or errors in the translation. Take the necessary steps to address these issues, which may involve re-running the script or making manual corrections.
• Follow Instructions: Adhere to the clear instructions provided in the process document or video for translation tasks. Understand the requirements and guidelines for translating the test library content accurately.
• Quality Assurance: Take the highest responsibility for the quality of the translated test library content. Verify the accuracy of the translation by re-translating it back to English using the same script on Rundeck. Make necessary adjustments to ensure correctness.
• Test Library Tracker: Diligently update the tracker of the test library by inserting the test library ID and question ID against the English test library ID for each translated language. Maintain accurate records of the translated content.
• Jira Ticket Creation: Create Jira tickets on a daily basis to document the tasks related to the number of test libraries translated. Provide relevant details and ensure the tickets are created promptly.
• Ownership and Progress Updates: Take ownership of assigned work and regularly update the progress to the supervisor or team lead. Keep them informed about the status of translations, completed tasks, and any challenges faced.
Required Soft Skills:
• Attention to Detail: Possess a keen eye for identifying even minor issues in the translation and strive for perfection.
• Understanding Needs: Comprehend the requirements and needs of the assessment content test library to ensure accurate translation.
• Process-Oriented: Follow the provided instructions, guidelines, and workflows consistently.
• Quality Assurance and Work Ethics: Maintain a strong commitment to delivering high-quality translated content and demonstrate ethical conduct in all tasks.
• Self-Motivated: Exhibit a proactive and self-driven approach to work, taking initiative to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
Required Technical skills:
English CEFR level C1 or B2 level.
Minimum basic understanding of Spanish or German or Dutch or French.
Required Hard Skills:
Google Suite: Proficiently use Google Sheets, Docs, and Drive to manage and organize translation-related documents and files.
Jira: Have knowledge of Jira to create and update tickets for translation tasks. (However, we shall be giving the training on the same)
Email: Communicate effectively via email for any necessary correspondence related to the translation work.
Slack: Able to communicate through this chat channel with team members and supervisors
