The Opportunity

Nature of Employment: Contract
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing the content strategy and editorial calendar for US High School sports coverage, with a focus on basketball and gridiron football prospects.
Coordinate with writers, editors, and contributors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content across various platforms, including website, social media, and newsletters.
Coordinate with and setup teams to execute exclusive content provided by our writers/stakeholders in the USA.
Help ideate and execute creative content initiatives, such as multimedia features, podcasts, and video series, to engage and grow the audience.
Monitor analytics and metrics to evaluate content performance and identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
Collaborate with the social media team to promote content and engage with the audience on relevant platforms.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to inform content decisions and strategies.
Requirements
Prior work experience in content management services,or coming from an editorial background preferred.
Thorough knowledge of the US sports industry, including but not restricted to major leagues such as the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and MLS, as well as the recruiting process for college/NCAA as well as AAU leagues.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with writers, editors, and other team members to deliver high-quality content.
Familiarity with content management systems and tools for tracking and analyzing content performance.
A passion for sports and a commitment to delivering engaging and informative content to our audience.
