Notion Press is India’s largest book publishing platform with over 60,000 books published and sold in 150+ countries. We are a 10-year-old platform and currently publish a new book every 30 minutes. Notion Press is a global platform for anyone who believes in the power of words and the impact it can have on the world we live in. Our vision is to democratize publishing and help writers to publish and sell their books directly to readers around the world. We are a 100+ strong team currently operating in India, looking to expand to South-East Asia, Europe, and North America.
We are seeking a driven, self-motivated candidate to join our growing organization. In this position, you will be responsible for developing compelling, creative copies across social media platforms. High levels of energy, willingness to experiment, strong communication skills, and exposure to all current trends are a must.
In This Role You Will:
-Read manuscripts to recommend and create content for authors.
-Develop content strategies aligned with the author's brand and marketing goals.
-Write and edit blog posts, social media posts, and other content types as needed, based on the books the author has written.
-Conduct research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and news.
-Collaborate with our team of marketers, designers, and developers to create content.
-Manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
-Provide feedback and revisions to other team members' content as needed.
A Perfect Candidate Has:
-A passion for reading.
-At least 1 year of experience in content writing, preferably in a marketing or agency setting.
-Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
-Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with keyword research.
-Experience with content management systems such as WordPress or HubSpot.
-Familiarity with social media platforms and their respective content requirements.
-Strong time-management and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
-A passion for writing and storytelling, with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
-A portfolio of writing samples that demonstrate a range of writing styles and formats would be helpful.
