Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Content Data Analyst to join our team and play a crucial role in our digital transformation. This position will be responsible for migrating data enriched content, including images, metadata, copy, and product information, from our clientele's legacy system to a new Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform.
Key responsibilities:
Data Migration:
• Efficiently migrate product content from the legacy system to the assigned DAM location, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Evaluate and recognize patterns in the data to streamline the migration process and identify potential issues.
• Validate and correct any inconsistencies or errors in the migrated data.
• Organize product content within the DAM solution for easy retrieval and management.
Metadata Management:
• Create and assign accurate metadata tags to product content to improve searchability and organization within DAM.
• Evaluate and recognize patterns in product attributes to optimize metadata tagging and ensure consistency.
• Standardize metadata fields and ensure consistency across all product entries.
Image Optimization:
• Optimize images for web use, ensuring they meet specific size and format requirements.
• Maintain image quality while minimizing file size to improve website performance.
Quality Assurance:
• Conduct thorough quality assurance checks to identify and resolve any issues with migrated content.
• Evaluate and recognize patterns in quality assurance findings to identify systemic issues and implement preventive measures.
• Ensure that all migrated content is accurate, complete, and adheres to brand guidelines.
Collaboration:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, e-commerce, and IT, to ensure a smooth migration process.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools
• Experience with digital asset management systems (DAM) is preferred, but not required
What would make you an outstanding candidate
• Knowledge of integration between DAM systems and other platforms such as CMS, PIM, or CRM tools.
• Understanding of digital content lifecycle and copyright/licensing considerations.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, including Agile.
