Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Content Strategist with 3 to 6 years of experience to lead our content strategy efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategizing, creating, and managing content across various channels, ensuring alignment with client goals. This role involves close collaboration with clients, freelance content writers, internal teams, and vendors. The Content Strategist will also play a key role in training the SEO team and onboarding new employees.
Key Responsibilities:
• Content Strategy Development:
• Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies for clients across various industries.
• Ensure content aligns with client objectives, target audience, and brand voice.
• Regularly review and optimize content strategies to improve client outcomes.
• Content Creation:
• Write high-quality, SEO-friendly content for clients when needed.
• Create content outlines and briefs for internal teams and external writers.
• Oversee the content production process, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Client Management:
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding content-related matters.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to understand their needs and provide updates.
• Present content strategies and performance reports to clients.
• Coordination & Collaboration:
• Collaborate with freelance writers, internal/external content creators, and vendors.
• Ensure seamless coordination between all stakeholders involved in content production.
• Work closely with the SEO team to align content with SEO strategies.
• Training & Development:
• Conduct internal training sessions for the SEO team on content best practices.
• Provide onboarding and training for new employees joining the content or SEO teams.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3-6 years) in content strategy, content creation, and client management.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and content marketing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
• Experience working with content management systems (CMS) and collaboration tools.
Work Environment:
• Hybrid (Mumbai): Candidates based in Mumbai will work in a hybrid model, with a combination of in-office and remote work.
• Remote (Outside Mumbai): Candidates outside Mumbai will work remotely
