Technical Writing: Translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand, accessible content for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs): Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information and insights for content creation.
Content Strategy: Contribute to content strategy development by identifying key topics, trends, and areas for content expansion.
Content Optimization: Ensure all content is optimized for SEO, readability, and user experience, following best practices for online content.
Quality Assurance: Review and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand voice and style guidelines.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in technical writing and content creation.
Requirements
Proven Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in content writing, with a focus on technical writing.
Strong Writing Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Technical Aptitude: Solid understanding of technical concepts related to software, IT, engineering, or other relevant fields.
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaborative Spirit: Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines.
Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), SEO tools, and other relevant software is a plus.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with software documentation tools such as Confluence, MadCap Flare, or similar.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic web design principles.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
