The Opportunity
The Content Writer will be responsible for developing high-quality, engaging, and informative content that resonates with students, parents, and educational stakeholders. This includes creating copy for social media campaigns, prospectuses, video scripts, blogs, and other communication materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Content: Create engaging posts, captions, and stories for platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube to build brand presence and drive engagement.
Prospectus & Brochure Content: Write clear, persuasive, and well-structured content that highlights our programs, services, and success stories.
Video Scripts: Develop concise, engaging, and brand-aligned scripts for explainer videos, student testimonials, webinars, and promotional content.
Website & Blog Content: Produce SEO-friendly articles, landing page copy, and resources to improve discoverability and audience engagement.
Email Marketing: Write newsletters, promotional emails, and event invites that convert readers into leads or attendees.
Collaborate with the marketing, counseling, and design teams to align content with brand voice and campaign objectives.
Conduct research on educational trends, career paths, and academic programs to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Maintain a consistent tone of brand voice across all touchpoints.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in content writing, preferably in education, career counseling, or related sectors.
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Ability to adapt writing style to different platforms and audiences.
Strong research skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with SEO principles and social media best practices.
Experience in writing for video scripts is a plus.
