Job Description
Responsibility:
A highly motivated Content Writer is needed to expand our marketing team. In addition to working with the creative team to create monthly content calendars and decks that support client requirements and adhere to brand guidelines. You will be in charge of generating material to support marketing efforts across various digital channels and collaborating with social media and the marketing team.
· Research, write and create marketing content to effectively communicate the value proposition on various writing projects across sectors.
· Analyse and refine key messaging by exploring industry trends and objectives
· Manage and maintain consistent branding and messaging on social media
Edit and polish existing content to improve readability and engagement
· Write captions for social media posts and assist with marketing campaigns.
· Be responsible for researching and writing.
· Develop long- and short-form content. The scope of format may include website copy, blogs social media content, technical topics, research-based white papers, as well as persuasive pieces (i.e., op-eds or press releases).
· Synthesize information and create strategic messaging and written materials in tandem with client and account leads.
· Develop or support the development of content calendars, plans and editorial concepts, PowerPoint presentations, and brand pitches.
· Create and schedule content for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and new and emerging platforms
· Manage social media content calendars from priorities to execution, including collaboration with the graphic design team members
Requirements:
• 1+ years of digital content writing experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in mass media, journalism, and English.
• Skilled in creative writing with an agency background.
• A passion for technology and the ability to make complex information easy to understand.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (preferably Excel & PowerPoint).
• Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media.
• Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management, open to new ideas and feedback.
· The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and on multiple projects simultaneously
