The Role
We are looking for a Content Writer to join our Marketing team and enrich our websites with new blog posts, guides and marketing copy.
Content Writer responsibilities include conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types and proofreading articles before publication. If you're familiar with producing online content and have an eye for detail, we'd like to meet you. Feel free to share samples of your work or portfolio of your published articles, along with your application.
Ultimately, you'll deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract customers and boost brand awareness.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Researching industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
• Writing clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
• Preparing well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems
• Proofreading and edit blog posts before publication
• Submitting work to editors for input and approval
• Coordinating with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
• Conducting simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
• Promoting content on social media
• Identifying customers' needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
• Ensuring all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
• Updating website content as needed
Ideal Profile
Skills Required:
• You have at least 1 year experience ideally in Content Management or Digital Marketing within Real Estate industry.
• You have the ability to develop engaging content for a wide range of audiences.
• You are a creative marketing professional, preferably with a strong content creation and writing background.
• Experience within Content Planning and Performance marketing would be a strong advantage.
• You have good knowledge of Content Management Tools (Magento, WordPress, Shopify).
• You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders.
• You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard.
• You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments.
• You have 0-1 years Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role.
• You have portfolio of published articles.
• You have experience doing research using multiple sources.
• You have familiarity with web publications.
• You have excellent writing and editing skills in English to be able to liaise effectively to different stakeholders across the region.
• You have hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress).
• You have the ability to meet deadlines.
• You have BSc in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field.
