Job Description
Our company is in need of a talented Content Writer to create compelling blog posts, white papers, product descriptions, social media content and web copy. We’re looking for someone who will help us expand our digital footprint and drive more value through online content. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of producing pieces that increase engagement and drive leads. This position requires a high level of creativity, as well as the ability to use data-driven insights to write better material. Preference will be given to those with a strong writing portfolio, bachelor’s degree, and relevant work experience.
Responsibilities and duties
• Regularly produce various content types, including email, social media posts, blogs, and white papers
• Collaborate with other departments to create innovative content ideas
• Analyse content marketing metrics and makes changes as needed
• Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)
• Prepare well-structured drafts and clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
• Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
• Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
• Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
• Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
• Submit work to Manager for input and approval
Requirements and skills
• Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role
• Portfolio of published articles
• Experience doing research using multiple sources
• Familiarity with web publications
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English
• Hands-on experience with social media platforms
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, or related field
• Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing and web analytics
• Excellent writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
• The ability to consistently meet tight deadlines
• At least three years of experience writing for a B2B audience
