About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Content Writing Intern to join the Office of a Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha.
The successful candidate will work closely with the MP and their team to develop high-quality content for various platforms, including social media, websites, press releases, and speeches.
The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with excellent writing skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the MP and their team to develop content for various platforms, including social media, websites, press releases, and speeches.
• Research and write on topics related to public policy, legislation, and political developments.
• Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to content strategy development.
• Stay up-to-date with current events and trends in politics and public policy.
Requirements:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging content.
• Strong research skills and attention to detail.
• Interest in politics, public policy, and current affairs.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and their best practices.
• Experience with content creation and/or journalism is a plus.
• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
