Job Description
To put it simply: You are our brand’s truthful storyteller, working alongside our design team. You transform potential customers into brand loyalists with your words. You take charge of crafting compelling marketing and promotional messaging for the brand, across all media channels. Any initiative, activity, etc. that helps you do this, is yours to manage and drive—with us providing our full support, of course.
Responsibilities
• Write engaging, creative copy for a variety of media including social, print, video, and online, in collaboration with other writers, and other departments, including creative, product, marketing, and legal
• Stay on top of trends and opinions in the beauty and fashion industry, and reflect that knowledge in the content produced
• Ensure that our brand messaging stays true to our brand identity, voice, and tone, by writing, editing and proof-reading all messaging pieces
• Incorporate SEO principles, data analytics to maximize efficiency and reach of the messaging
• Assist senior writers to produce content
• Track, measure, and course-correct campaigns and messaging, as required
Basic requirement:
• Minimum of 2-3 years of writing experience, preferably in Beauty and Fashion
• Expertise in crafting messaging across platforms, channels, and media, including digital, social, and offline communication
• Demonstrated experience in creative thinking and innovative problem solving
• Unquestionable excellence in written English
• Creative eye, and attention to detail
