Content Writer

About the Role
Content Writers will focus on writing prepare the original content and research for new and existing modules in collaboration with local Content Development Editors and the Global Regulatory Change team in LexisNexis Regulatory Compliance. Producing structured and accurate content with attention to detail and correct grammar is essential to the role. The ability to plan and meet deadlines, as well as the agility to quickly change priorities in accordance with the changing needs of the team is essential. The Content Writer must be able to build positive relationships with all Content Development Editors and Content Officers within the local and global Regulatory Compliance teams.

Responsibilities:
Developing a comprehensive understanding of the overall solution and modules within portfolio, Awareness of developments, legislative reforms, procedures, case law and trends within practice areas
Understanding of portfolio including target market, authors/experts, positioning, structure and development needs
Applying knowledge and customer insights to deliver content to ensure currency, relevance and accessibility for all products
Supporting new content development proposals and implementation of new content and new titles within adjacent practice areas and/or jurisdictions
Undertaking various writing tasks prioritized in collaboration with the Content Development Editors and Regulatory Change team, including: Write new modules, whitepapers & marketing collaterals. Perform legal research, working on special projects
Developing collaborative and productive relationships with Local and Global Content team members, Local and Global Sales and Marketing teams, External legal experts as required
Requirements:
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build successful relationships
Have technical writing experience, preferably legal/ and regulatory content for non-legal audience
Have thorough content development knowledge, include the ability to develop related business cases, content and product plans.
Have a Bachelor of Laws in local jurisdiction
Able to multi-task and has good time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Have technical skills including Microsoft Office, Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint
