Content Writer for Regenerative Agriculture Project in Punjab
Job Title: Content Writer
Type: Full-time
Vertiver is a New Delhi-based sustainability consultancy working at the overlap of science, policy, and communications to design and implement behavior change projects on the themes of Circular Economy, Sustainable Agriculture, Biodiversity (Nature-based Solutions), and Climate change mitigation and adaptation across India.
Project Context
Vertiver is in the process of bidding for a project with an international conservation organization to support the development of a behavior change communications (BCC) project that enables regenerative agriculture across 4500 villages in Punjab’s 18 districts targeting approximately 4 lakh farmers. (Focus will be on enabling farmers to adopt zero-burning cropping systems.)
Roles and Responsibilities:
Tracking the project activities, outputs, and outcomes of the project. The candidate must be very conversant with the project's objectives and has thematic knowledge & practical experience with water management/conservation agriculture/related fields. All the tasks and deliverables will be in consultation with Vertiver. The field coordinator will follow a detailed work plan submitted before beginning the assignment.
• Develop high-quality content for the BCC project, including but not limited to articles, blog posts, social media content, and multimedia content.
• Collaborate with the behavioral science team to ensure the content is tailored to the target audience and aligned with the project's goals.
• Ensure that all content is accurate, persuasive, and well-researched.
Qualification
• Graduate/Postgraduate in Mass Communications or Journalism or a related field.
• At least 2 years of work experience in a similar field and in the region.
• Verbal and written communication in Punjabi is the key requirement for this position.
