Role: Copywriter / Content Writer
We’re looking for a creative thinker with excellent writing and research skills to join our team. As a member of the creative team, you will write and edit copy for a variety of projects (including print, web, mobile, video, and social media), working closely with the design team to brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and develop messaging. Thorough research will be required to understand each client's industry, products/services, branding, and marketing goals.
Responsibilities:
• Interpret creative briefs to develop and produce creative concepts through execution on assigned brands
• Write original copy and edit content in the tone suitable for the client and brand style and appropriate for many platforms, including websites, mobile apps, emails, social media, blogs, marketing materials, articles & brochures
• Identify key messages - understand the main thing that you want the reader to feel and do and how to communicate this powerfully
• Compose engaging content for various social platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of communication and client-related industry trends
• Research and understand your target audience - you're not writing for just the client, you're writing for their audience too, so you'll need to know what interests them
• Present copy concepts and final deliverables to internal team, and to client representative as needed, and participate in client pitches on occasion
• Revise copy based on internal and client feedback/direction
Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree (in marketing, communications or media is a bonus)
• Ability to ideate & write creatively
• Significant experience in writing strong, succinct copy that is grammatically correct
• Attention to detail
