Description
Position Summary • Interpret client briefs and write original copy, free of grammatical errors, for a range of marketing platforms for brands, especially websites • Research and understand the client's needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject matter experts, and in-person meetings • Participate in brainstorming for the core idea/ideation that meets clients' brand objective • Be the go-to resource for all marketing writing • Editing & proofreading content once written • Revise copy based on internal and client feedback/direction • Input content to the client's content management software (CMS) • Collaborate with a team of account managers and creative staff from concept development to delivery of the final product • Present copy concepts and final deliverables to the internal team, and to client representatives as needed • Assist in business pitches to win new clients or projects Key Responsibilities • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills • A self-starter with a passion for research and learning • Able to understand the different language styles that appeal to various target markets • Familiar with content management systems (CMS) • Understands website UI/UX • Ability to multitask and consistently meet deadlines • Attention to detail and exceptional execution • Prior experience working on information architecture for websites is a bonus Desired Skills & Experience Total Relevant Experience: 1-3 years
