Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Content writer is responsible for writing content for the brand and its products, for various offline and online channels, including but not limited to website brand content, blogs, social media content, concept notes & themes, cultural & editorial content, store content, emailers & newsletters, performance marketing ads, new launch product texts, and scripts.
• Create/write new content and concepts to assist all marketing campaigns. The position requires frequent liaison with the Marketing and Graphics Team.
• Regularly reference new ideas by researching industry-related topics & relevant competitor brands.
• Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics.
• Write marketing ad copies and branded content that aptly capture the brand USPs and are also engaging to read.
• Development of innovative and unique content for global, local, and regional marketing campaigns. Focus: India & International differentiators.
• The content writer will also be tasked with elevating the brand’s social media presence by developing engaging content ideas for stories and posts.
• Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems.
• Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.
• Write, proofread, and edit blog posts before publication.
• Ensure all-round consistency (style, fonts, images) of the content.
• Update website content as needed.
• Brand Custodian: the content writer should over time develop a deep understanding of the FE philosophy & Ayurveda and must adhere to the Brand’s communication guidelines & tone of voice.
Experience:
• Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or a similar role. Experience in a beauty or luxury brand preferred.
• Portfolio of published articles.
• Experienced in conducting research using multiple sources.
• Familiarity with web publications.
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
• Strong conceptualization.
• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress).
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism / Mass Communication or BA / MA in English Literature
