Job Role: Finance/market content writer
Job Description:
Puretech and Quantent is on the lookout for financial markets content writers and editors who can help churn out high-quality articles. The key responsibilities of the role will be as follows:
• Create a minimum of 2000-2500 words of high-level content related to the financial markets per day. Domain expertise is crucial.
• Research about various topics and create plagiarism-free, excellent quality content on financial markets.
• Produce content that engages with diverse sets of consumers including those who have little or no knowledge of the markets.
• Understand how to use SEO tools and guidelines to help create content and drive traffic towards client websites.
• Generate ideas for new content topics, write, edit, and proofread all content pieces for inconsistencies or errors.
• Ensure all-round consistency across projects and follow style guides as applicable for varying clients.
• Modify, edit, and update content on client websites as required from time to time.
• Create compelling headlines, sub-headlines, and body copies to capture the attention of the target audience.
Skills Required
• Expertise in writing and/or editing business/finance/stock market content
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Proficiency in MS Office – particularly Microsoft word
• A keen understanding of the digital marketing spectrum and social media platforms
• Strong logic, reasoning, and analytical skills
• Ability to simplify complex concepts and explain them in simple terms that can be understood by anyone
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
• An eye for detail and meticulousness while creating content
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Openness to learn about subjects across different industries
• Team players with a positive mindset towards work and the ability to juggle multiple projects concurrently
