What do we do?
Qode investments is a quantitative investment management company trading in Indian financial markets, dedicated to research as the central focus point of the organization.
At Qode, we spend about 10,000 man hours/year doing research on business, the stock market and economics.
What are we looking for?
Up until now, the research was used internally within the firm for our own investing needs. But now we are finding the need to publish this research on a wider scale to a larger audience so that we can help people make better financial decisions. To do so, we are looking for someone who is passionate about writing and reading about business, finance and economics. Currently we do have a blog: www.qode.blog on which we occasionally write about investing , but we want to take this more seriously and provide actionable content. Content that could directly impact financial decisions made by entrepreneurs/investors. We want to provide simple and honest financial content to the reader.
What will the role involve?
Because this will be a new venture for the organization and most of our team being from an engineering background, this role will be dynamic. It will involve:
• Understanding what we really do and how we go about doing our research
• Collaborating with the research team on new ideas and content
• Writing and simplifying the research for the reader
• Building a foundation for writing and posting the research
• Using different mediums: blog/medium/twitter/linkedin
• Taking feedback from the reader to improve our research
CTC: 400,000-500,000 p.a
