Role: Content Writer
Work Location: Bengaluru, Ferns Office
The content writer will be responsible to run the Store merchandising experimentation charter by creating content marketing material for Apps Store & managing end-to-end publishing of the content on Store. The writer should be able to write & curate content (articles, blogs etc) per Microsoft Copy and Style guidance, seek attention, build awareness and drive app acquisition on the Teams Store. The writer is expected to coordinate with internal partner teams to proactively manage and publish content on time. They would also act as a Point of Contact for Editorial content curation, responsible for publishing content on time with high quality, providing information, reporting, insights, and regular support to stakeholders.
Required skills –
• Proven record of writing excellent content marketing material (in English) in a professional portfolio in Technology
· The ideal candidate should be able to think and work independently, on research-related topics, generate ideas for new content & successfully execute with minimal guidance.
• Must have a strong command of the English language and able to produce content that is free of grammar issues.
• Good understanding of writing for SEO (strategically placing keywords as often as possible without affecting engagement)
• Sales copywriting – good to have
• Strong eye for design – can work with designers so the design accentuates the copy
