Job Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and content writer to join our crazy but wonderful marketing team.
You will be responsible for creating compelling, engaging, and SEO-friendly copy for Joveo's various marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, website content, blogs, and more.
Our goal? To take over the interwebs.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about writing and possess excellent written English communication skills.
Those English language skills will be put to the test creating high-quality content that aligns with our brand's voice and objectives.
Responsibilities:
Work with members of the marketing team to develop and execute a content strategy aligned with our business goals.
Write (and/or edit to create) clear, compelling, grammatically-correct, and SEO-friendly B2B content for various digital platforms, including website pages, blog posts, articles, social media, and email campaigns.
Know (and respect) the fine line between optimized and over-optimized content.
Ability to fact check and source high-quality information from reliable sources.
Coordinate with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to gather information and insights for content creation.
Conduct research to gain a thorough understanding of the target audience and industry trends.
Work with colleagues to monitor content performance, track user engagement, and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field strongly preferred, with a minimum of five years of related experience
Minimum two years' experience using basic SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines
Minimum two years' experience creating content in the B2B tech space
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Familiarity with various marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and website content, as well as longer forms
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, organizing and prioritizing work accordingly
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
Portfolio of original writing samples
