Job Description
We have an exciting and newly created role of Content Writer for New Directions Australia in our Sydney Head Office.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Content Writing: Write and edit compelling content for websites including writing web descriptions for skin care products and essential oils, blogs, brochures, EDM/email campaigns, and social media campaigns. Ensure all content aligns with SEO best practices to boost online visibility while maintaining consistency with a company’s brand voice and messaging.
Improving content provided by stakeholders
Research: Researching and developing copy for brochures, flyers, annual reports, and presentations.
Editing and proofreading: Ensure our copy and content is easy to read and tells our unique story.
We are seeking an individual who has the following skills and experience:
Hold or are completing a degree in business, communications, journalism, or related field.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
Experience in creating content for website.
Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills
Capable of engaging, creative writing with a strong command of English.
Familiar with SEO, CMS and HTML principles.
Knowledgeable about Skin Care and essential oils, either through previous work experience or personal interest.
Eager to take ownership of projects and use initiative to add value to the brand.
Proactive in collaborating with stakeholders.
An ambitious and driven person who wants to be part of the New Directions vision for the long term.
Self-motivated and driven; a fast learner with a calm & positive influence.
