With a strong foundation and a growing global customer base, we are looking for a talented Content Writer to join our Marketing team. The ideal candidate is a fluent English speaker based in the UK, with a proven ability to create compelling technical and marketing content.
Position Overview
As a Content Writer at Object First, you will play a key role in enhancing brand awareness, driving website traffic, and generating leads. You will balance crafting insightful technical content (such as blog posts and guides) with writing persuasive marketing materials (including web pages, landing pages, emails, and newsletters). Your role will involve thorough research, idea generation, meticulous proofreading, and measuring the performance of all content assets.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics.
• Produce authoritative marketing content based on research and industry trends.
• Craft clear, concise copy that effectively promotes our products and services.
• Develop drafts using Content Management Systems and ensure content is SEO-optimised.
• Write, proofread, and edit blog posts, web pages, and other content for publication.
• Create and optimise content for email marketing campaigns, personalising it to improve open and click-through rates.
• Analyse the performance of content across platforms, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Work closely with product, solutions, and partner marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
• Maintain a consistent style, tone, and format across all content channels.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Content Writer specialising in Cybersecurity and Data Protection.
• Strong understanding of enterprise technology and IT industry trends.
• Fluent English speaker with excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and refine content creation processes, with a focus on continuous improvement and attention to detail.
• Expertise in conducting thorough research from a variety of sources.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and experience with web publications.
• Strong portfolio of published work, including technical articles and marketing content.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• A BSc in Marketing, English, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is preferred.
