Content Writer |amp| Copywriter
Are you an experienced writer and researcher who can adapt their style and content to suit multiple brands, generate strategic copy and ideate innovative content ideas, looking for a creative and exciting role in a growing international company?
The Content Writer / Copywriter is responsible for researching, writing, proofing and assisting in all aspects of copywriting across a number of marketing channels (online and offline) to aid in the delivery of the strategic marketing and communications plan for all four brands – Southern Design Group, Bankston, Iver & TradCo. The individual in the role will be required to liaise and collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to accrue industry specific technical knowledge.
Joining our Marketing team, the role reports to the Head of Marketing, and will work closely with the Senior Creative Manager and Marketing Coordinator.
The right candidate will have a high level of attention to detail and excellent spelling, grammar and proofing skills. The individual in this role will be able to work autonomously to obtain required information from stakeholders and meet tight deadlines.
As a part time role, the candidate is expected to commit to 32 hours a week, with flexibility around timings.
Key Responsibilities
Research, Collaboration & Content Ideation
Research interior design & architecture market trends and hardware specific industry information with the goal of ideating new and innovative content to support the approved brand pillars.
Engage and collaborate with relevant stakeholders (internal & external) to accrue industry specific technical knowledge to ensure accuracy of all copywriting.
Incorporate country and region specific copywriting tailored to resonate with audiences in various countries including Australia, New Zealand and the US.
Marketing & Brand Communications Copywriting
Write both technical and creative copy for a range of brand materials, in line with overarching communications plan, brand guidelines and approved tone-of-voice. These include:
Catalogues, lookbooks, brochures & flyers
Weekly long and short-form blog articles for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
Architectural project copy, with a specific focus on hardware
EDMs, websites and other digital assets
Campaign and sales copy
Presentations & pitches
Award submittals
Videography scripts
Other marketing collateral as required
