Responsibilities and Duties
• Applying content domain expertise for mapping and refining items (questions) against curriculum documents, textbooks, assessment rubrics and framework
• Weeding out inappropriate items
• Editing test forms for publishing
• Complete involvement in specialised subjects from the initial stages of development editing and copyediting to the final stages of CRC preparation and project handover for printing and publishing
• Ensuring the infallibility of the content at all stages of publishing and production
• Thorough and meticulous investigation of the content during the pre-print stage, in terms of quality, precision, correctness, stylistic perfection and compliance with the requirements of target readers
• Briefing and guiding artists, designers, typesetters and proof-readers on how to work in tandem and contribute positively and in a productive way
• Liaising with authors, resource persons and freelancers
Salary: Depending upon the candidate (negotiable)
