Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and creative Content Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating compelling and SEO-friendly content that drives customer engagement, enhances our brand voice, and supports our marketing initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
Develop high-quality, engaging content for our e-commerce website, including product descriptions, category pages, blog posts, and email campaigns.
Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to understand the brand’s voice, target audience, and product features.
Conduct thorough research on industry trends, products, and SEO best practices to ensure content is informative, accurate, and optimized for search engines.
Write persuasive and creative copy that converts visitors into customers and encourages repeat business.
Proofread and edit content to maintain a high standard of quality and consistency.
Stay up-to-date with the latest content marketing strategies and e-commerce trends to continuously improve content performance.
Work with the SEO team to ensure all content is optimized for search engines and meets keyword targets.
Assist with content calendar planning and adhere to deadlines for content delivery.
Monitor content performance using analytics tools and make data-driven recommendations for content improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Content Writer, preferably in an e-commerce or digital marketing environment.
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong portfolio of work.
Knowledge of SEO principles and content optimization techniques.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and e-commerce platforms.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong research skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in using MS Office and content creation tools.
A self-starter with a passion for writing and a desire to learn and grow within the e-commerce industry.
