We are looking for a skilled Content Writer and Social Media Executive to write and publish various types of pieces including articles, blogs, eBooks, and social media posts for our company’s webpage and social media.
The person will be responsible for producing marketing copy to advertise our products, writing blog posts about e-commerce industry-related topics, and promoting our content on social media. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with digital publishing and generating traffic and leads for new business. Please share samples of your work portfolios or projects along with your application.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Plan and execute content marketing plans, including website blogs, short-form content on LinkedIn, and other platforms/mediums.
• Take the lead on the marketing front of the agency and work towards the creative aspect of it.
• Create engaging and informative content for our website and social media platforms, including articles, blogs, eBooks, and social media posts.
• Coordinate with the Manager of Marketing and the CEO to generate creative posts as per requirements and enhance the company’s website in terms of content, design, and ranking.
• Work with the design team to ideate and finalize posts for social media (festive posts + others) and other needs.
• Write content based on e-commerce tips and tricks, selling on Amazon, and advertising on Amazon. Should be familiar with AMS.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that align with our overall marketing objectives.
• Use SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines and social media platforms.
• Conduct research on industry-related topics to ensure that our content is up-to-date and relevant.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of our content and adjust strategies as needed.
• Suggesting new ways to promote company offerings and reach consumers.
• Edit and proofread written pieces before publication.
Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:
• Graduate or post-graduate in marketing, communications, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Content Creator or similar role
• Passion for marketing and initiating creativity.
• An eye for design and brainstorming.
• Excellent communication skills and initiative to take up tasks.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Knowledge of digital publishing and content marketing. Familiarity with SEO best practices
• Basic Microsoft - word, excel, PowerPoint, Any design platform - Canva, photoshop, blender, Figma, etc.
• Experience in creating content for various channels, including social media, blogs, and websites.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• The ability to function both in start-up-like environments and large matrixed organizations will be key to success.
