Job Description
We're a Media Production & Digital marketing technology startup working to solve Digital Media & Marketing problems end to end and looking for a full-time Content Writer.
The Role
Your Responsibilities will include:
• Communications with customers and ensuring consistency in the brand voice.
• Developing and maintaining technical documentation such as manuals and training materials.
• Designing and organizing documentation sets for products and services.
• Collaborating with the relevant stakeholders on technical documentation requirements.
• Maintaining a library of technical terminology and documentation.
• The entire writing process, from story development, outlining, and scriptwriting, to the creation of the final production script.
• Assessing leads and pitching captivating story ideas to editors.
• Collecting and deciphering data and using findings to prepare clean, concise, and factual articles.
• Keeping records of all notes, interviews, and audio files.
• Creating trustworthy relationships with contacts and sources for use in future research.
• Keeping up to date with the latest news developments and ensuring that you meet all deadlines.
• Providing context and meaning to the gameplay experience.
• Driving and assisting in the creation and development of the story and character arcs in collaboration with other teams.
• Write in-game dialogue as well as setting or adopting tones and character voices.
• Interpreting briefs to produce original content.
• Reworking content based on feedback from stakeholders.
• Ensuring all copy is proofread and free of errors.
• Using research to establish the strategy for reaching out to the target audience.
Ideal Profile
Skills Required:
• You have at least 1 year of experience, ideally in Technical Writing, Startup Experience, Screenplay Writing, Marketing Copy, Journalism / News, Gameplay Writer, or Game Writer.
• You are a good multitasker who can work within tight deadlines.
• You have the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable.
• You are adept at creating content that will effectively engage audiences.
• You understand the dramatic structure and have excellent storytelling skills.
• Experience within Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT), Healthcare, and Consumer would be highly valuable.
• You are a strong networker & relationship builder.
• You enjoy finding creative solutions to problems.
• You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders.
