Job description: Content Writer
We are looking for Content Writers with 2 to 4 years of experience. Their role involves:
Writing content in different formats, conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating
ideas for new content types, and proofreading articles before submission.
The ideal candidate possesses a flair for writing across different formats of content, both for conventional
media and social media platforms, particularly in the realm of fashion & lifestyle It is essential to have
a strong communication insight, an eye for detail, good command over grammar and spelling, and the
ability to create content that delights readers. The candidate should have the ability to think differently and
convert corporate content and information into interesting reads.
Important to understand brands, keep track of news and developments and be generally aware of the
world around.
For the generation of content, day-to-day duties typically would include:
Research industry-related topics
Press Releases
Story pitches
Generation of reports
Prepare well-structured drafts
Proofread and edit content before publication
Put together presentations
Work with clients on their assignments
Competencies and Skills Required
1. Proven work experience as a Journalist, Public Relations Executive, Content Writer, Copywriter, or a
similar role
2. Portfolio of published articles
3. Experience doing research using multiple sources
4. Familiarity with web
5. Excellent writing and editing skills in English
6. Ability to meet deadlines
7. Must be detail oriented and an active listener
8. Ability to work under pressure
+. IT fluency and awareness of the digital environment
10. Ability to build knowledge of the industry and be abreast of current events
Qualifications:
1. At least 2-year background in content writing in a media house or equivalent core writing experience
2. Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
