LINC Education is seeking experienced Academic Content Writers for a Data Engineering Boot Camp.
About the Role
This is an exciting freelance position/part-time opportunity to work with international universities of high repute.
Responsibilities:
• Develop instructor materials, detailed lesson plans, live coding scripts/notebooks with solutions, and lecture slides or presentation materials.
• Create exercise solution guides and assessment materials (quizzes, project evaluation guidelines).
• Design student materials, including pre-read content for a flipped classroom approach, written lessons in Markdown format, short instructional videos, lab guides, and project requirements.
• Develop reference documentation and self-assessment materials.
• Configure technical environments for instructors and students, including environment setup guides, Docker containers/cloud environment configurations, sample datasets, and code repositories.
Requirements:
• A Master's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, IT, or a cognate discipline from reputable universities.
• A minimum of 5 years of industry experience working in similar roles (Data Engineer, Data Analyst, etc.) at leading global organizations.
• Experience with Python, SQL, Bash, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, AWS, GCP, Apache Spark, Hadoop ecosystem, Docker, Kubernetes, Airflow, dbt, Git, and GitHub.
• Certifications: AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Data Engineer (Associate), AWS MLE, and AWS DevOps Engineer.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, and knowledge of online learning resources and ability to research authentic academic resources.
