About the Role
We’re excited to offer an opportunity for a recent journalism (or related field) graduate with strong research and copywriting skills to join our Marketing team. You'll work alongside our Senior Content Writers, contributing to the growth of our fashion-forward business. In this role, you will:
Research, create, and edit digital and marketing content to increase eye health care awareness among our expanding customer base, with the support of our experienced network of Optometrists.
Provide briefings to our leadership team and Optometrists on product and eye health care topics.
Collaborate closely with our product, marketing, and retail operations teams from new product and service planning through to launch.
Partner with our web development and graphic design teams to deliver digital content that is both on-brand and on-trend.
This position is ideal for someone beginning their career in content writing or seeking to grow within a dynamic, expanding organisation. With us, you’ll have opportunities to advance your skills and position as a professional writer.
About You
We’re looking for a creative individual who can craft compelling, concise, and SEO-friendly content that elevates our brand as both a retailer and health care service provider.
The ideal candidate will be:
A recent university graduate in journalism or a related field.
Skilled in research and copywriting.
Capable of engaging, creative writing with a strong command of English.
Familiar with SEO principles.
Knowledgeable about the medical, optical, or fashion industries, either through previous work experience or personal interest.
Eager to take ownership of projects and use initiative to add value to the brand.
Proactive in collaborating with stakeholders.
