Responsibilities:
- Writing long-form articles on various topics based on the client and campaign themes.
- Researching content from 3rd party sources, interacting with subject matter experts with the client, and coming up with content.
- Writing captivating short-form content for social media posts, headlines, and digital ads and iterating quickly to improve results.
- Ensuring all content is accurate grammatically, tone & quality wise, and target audience fit.
- Staying up to date with trends in SEO, digital and content marketing, and understanding the various moving parts in the digital marketing space.
Requirements:
We are looking for candidates who have completed their Bachelor in Journalism/Mass Communication or equivalent, with the following skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Have a fair understanding of Telugu and Hindi, good Telugu/Hindi writing skills would give you an edge in the selection process.
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate on complex projects.
- Display strong learnability, quickly grasp emerging trends, and adapt to evolving project needs.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing and search engine optimization.
- Awareness of regional/local culture to develop content to meet regional tastes.
Educational Qualification:
Educational qualification is not a barrier as long as the candidate displays the necessary skills. This is a full-time office role, we are looking for candidates based out of Hyderabad or willing to relocate. If the candidate is experienced and committed we may consider a remote role.
Salary is negotiable based on skill set.
Do not apply if your English is poor and do not have any writing experience (either as a hobby or during your college or past job). If you are a fresher, candidates who have writing experience with college magazines, blogs, events, LinkedIn posts, etc., would be given preference. Candidates who have put effort into writing a good resume instead of using a cookie-cutter resume will be given priority
