Summary
Softura is looking for an experienced Marketing Content Writer who's adept at creating thoughtful, smart, and engaging content. This position will assist with promoting our services and brand and you will be working with a dynamic team of professionals, ultimately tasked to drive qualified leads and steward the Softura Brand. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and a good understanding of the IT/Software industry and will be able to work seamlessly with the internal marketing team to create custom content and edit existing content for our key focus areas. Content types included are blogs, guest post articles, website/landing page content, email templates, eBooks, Whitepapers, custom client presentations, case-studies, and more. You must have the drive, expertise, excitement and flexibility to evolve content based on metrics driven from campaign performance and learnings to help achieve business objectives.
Skills and Qualifications
• Accomplished and experienced writer with 5-7 years of experience (software/technology industry preferred)
• Familiarity with the SDLC, software development, software outsourcing concepts
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, English or equivalent preferred
• Produce well-researched content for publication online and in print
• Organize writing schedules to complete drafts of content or finished projects within deadlines
• Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies
• Exhibit an exceptional mastery of sentence structure, adhering to the highest standards of business grammar
• Utilize industry best practices and familiarity with the organization's mission to inspire ideas and content
• Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary
• Have the ability to work with subject matter experts to develop questions for interviews, conduct those interviews and ghost-write content and stay on-deadline.
• Edit and rewrite existing content, ensuring that it is on-topic, interesting and projects the correct voice of Softura
• Follow an editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of the content production team to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Develop related content for multiple platforms, such as websites, email marketing, product descriptions, videos, and blogs
• Monitor and analyze the performance of key performance indicators (KPIs) to offer suggestions for improvement
• Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of a website in search results
• Ability to deliver high quality content, paying attention to detail
• Research competitor/trending content and recommend new topics based on SEO success and other factors of that content
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Team player that can work with Technical, Sales UI, Marketing, senior management teams
• Experience with Social Media Content Management - preferred
• Experience in Document/ Content Management (SharePoint or other CMSs) – preferred
• Experience in writing engaging website/landing page content – preferred
