POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES / REQUIREMENTS: The Incumbent is responsible for expanding the company's digital footprint and drive more value through online content. The person will report to the Assistant General Manager - Marketing. The incumbent will have to work as part of a multi-functional team and this involves collaboration with the internal team and external stakeholders. JOB DESCRIPTION Ownership of all website content /blog performance metrics including conversions, traffic, bounce rate and session duration Ownership of all Social Media Handles content performance metrics such as followers, engagement rate etc. Ownership of the website content/blog content calendar and UX enhancements Ownership of Social Media Calendar across Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin - Planning and ensuring the availability of content for all the social mediums for RPCI and PCI Create ad copies for performance marketing campaigns - online (Adwords)and offline To assist in the development of offline marketing collaterals and creatives as required. Developing a strong content plan to support all the new and upcoming innovations on the Digital platforms - Both for RPCI and PCI. Develop well-defined content marketing strategies to promote content on website/blog/emailers/social media Work with external agencies and provide support to improve the SEO performance of the website/blog Editing and proofreading various contents online and offline Researching industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies) KEY DELIVERABLES Responsible for website/blog performance Managing content management strategies CORE COMPETENCIES A strong affinity for writing interesting and correct content. Focus on writing high quality and accurate copy. Creative eye to develop layouts, videos and work jointly with the agency to provide a direction to generate high quality content Ability to write, edit and proofread large volumes of SEO focused English content while adhering to tight deadlines Work with cross-functional teams for collecting technical information regarding our products and services and convert them into meaningful customer-centric content formats Demonstrable experience in long format digital content writing that resulted in business wins Good knowledge of SEO practices. Working knowledge of a CMS system. Experience using a website analytics tool like Google Analytics. Some experience in Email creation on systems like MailChimp, iContact, Get Response etc., website UX design, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator and Google Adwords will be an added advantage, but not necessary.
